STORYBOX was created in 2020 with a simple provocation: Could we reimagine outdoor media as digital portals for shared storytelling and creativity?
Could we treat audiences as citizen-storytellers, who each have a part to play in shaping the future of their community? What stories might they share?
Now five years old and counting, STORYBOX has created a digital portal in the real world, where more than 400 participants have contributed their stories, creativity and imagination across over 50 programs sponsored by place custodians, cultural organisations and learning institutions.
We’re proud of the collective story that STORYBOX continues to embody: that places are shaped by our stories, real and imagined, and we all have part to play in shaping them.
