Do you have an idea for a STORYBOX collaboration?
The inner west of Sydney is home to over a century of rugby league history.
Commissioned by Inner West Council and presented at the caretaker's cottage opposite Leichhardt Oval, this STORYBOX program invites the community to share their stories, memorabilia and memories to help shape a new community museum.

The inner west has played a special role in shaping the history of rugby league - and for many the game has shaped what it means to live and belong in the inner west.
From the foundation of the game in 1908 through to the Wests Tigers' 2005 premiership, inner west communities have shaped rugby league in ways few other places can claim. Balmain Tigers, Western Suburbs Magpies, Glebe Dirty Reds and the Newtown Jets are iconic early rugby league clubs. While some of these clubs have now gone, merged or been reborn, the seminal role the inner west has played in the birth, growth and evolution of Rugby League is undeniable.
STORYBOX plays a special role in this community project, creating a canvas for community stories and recordings to be shared, from original documentation of the early games to living memories.
The Launch Activation at the caretaker's cottage will feature a curated selection of archival videos, memorabilia, and video storytelling produced by the local team behind STORYBOX.
