In 2019 the City of Sydney declared a climate emergency.
STORYBOX Sydney is hosting a Climate Clock and partnering with Climate Clock Australia to highlight the important of radical action to reduce Australia's reliance on fossil fuels ahead of COP 26 in Glasgow in November.
Connecting to Climate Futures, Now
"This is a time, not only for information and policy, but for emotion."
We stand at a crossroads.
For decades the climate crisis has been something distant and far away. But now the future has come to meet us.
What is it like to now be facing the prospect of severe climate change impacting our lives, our habitats and our communities?
STORYBOX Climate Futures Portraits
In April 2021 we invited a group of Sydney-siders to share their perspectives on climate futures as part of a STORYBOX Sydney workshop.
We shared a video of Climate Clock we are featuring on STORYBOX Sydney during May and June 2021 and discussed participant responses to the climate emergency.
Participants each contributed a life sized video portrait for STORYBOX. Each portrait expresses a personal response to climate futures now.
Would you like to participate in our Climate Futures portraits?
Share your vision of a resilient and regenerative future on STORYBOX for the opportunity to feature your message on STORYBOX.
